Based in New Haven, Connecticut, I am a freelance writer, editor, and communications consultant, working in areas including health, science, politics, law, public policy, and education. For a number of years, I wrote an op-ed column on gender issues for the New Haven Register. I’ve also taught at Yale and Wesleyan and, for the past 25+ years, have been an adjunct professor in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at the University of Connecticut in Stamford. As a writer, educator, and activist, I see no conflict between good politics, good grammar, good works, and a good time.
